Kay - pink formal dress smile 1 by wildplaces

I like the composition for a portrait piece. at first i thought it was the yellows in the upper left hand that were bothering me, but i think they work well. however that weird whitening out of the lower left, just below the armpit and the shadow? that follows from the armpit to the top of dress seems to detract from the work. other wise nice choice of lighting and background. The movement of the hair and the top blend well to keep movement in the extremities of the work, while the eyes demand your attention, the use of mascara and the gemstones draws you right into her face, then the smile and with the help of the recurrence of the gems, you are drawn to the necklace which opens you up to the rest of the work.
